ABSTRACT:
ClickAndGo (C&G) is a patented cloud-based wayfinding and
navigation technology for blind pedestrians. We specialize in
delivering accessible customized route directions, virtual
tours, intersection descriptions, low vision maps, and other
data. We also provide wayfinding services to other user groups.
For example, we deliver a specialized database of routes for
wheelchair travelers.
C&G's service is deliverable in multiple languages, and is
customized for both indoor and outdoor venues. Our newest
features include an iPhone App, through which we now deliver
real-time location support using iBeacons. We have also launched
a new feature delivering simultaneous low vision maps alongside
our narrative directions.
All C&G data is made available through every possible
delivery mechanism: interactive voice response technology (IVR)
via any telephone or cell phone, auditory output via any
standard computer screen-reader, direct text or MP3 download
from the web, or via large print or Braille. And most recently,
C&G is available via iPhone App.
Unique to ClickAndGo is the user option for "pre-journey
exploration and learning" of any venue. Travelers can become
familiar with a walking route, virtual tour, or intersection
description with our service before leaving their home. No other
blindness wayfinding service on the market today that offers
this feature.
A full range of examples of our wayfinding service will be
demonstrated in the presentation.
